Wren Island Artwork

An appreciation for active imaginations and the desire to create art—even when we’re not sure what the finished product might look like—is an ongoing theme in Wren Island novels.

Allison wants to be a successful songwriter but gets overwhelmed by technical difficulties. Amelia begins repurposing trash found on the beach before knowing what her efforts will become. Shasta “knits like a maniac” (even attempting bikini patterns!) while her sister Macy whirs out endless creations on a sewing machine.

There are so many ways to create beauty in this world! It can be as simple as inviting a friend for a walk and looking for interesting treasures. Asking a friend to help you try something new. Writing an encouraging note on social media.

It has been my great delight to see Wren-inspired artwork created by readers like you. Paintings, drawings, cartoon characters, fabric animals, repurposed beach treasures, crocheted gifties, bookmarks, and more.

Select Wren Island artwork sometimes becomes available for you to share with loved ones. Prints, notecards, stickers, mugs, keychains, and so on. Send me a message to learn more.
